Snow Removal

Snow Plowing in Metro Detroit

Drives and lots opened before you need them, storm after storm, without having to call.

The measure of a plow contractor is not the eight-inch storm. Everybody shows up for those. It is the three-inch overnight nuisance storm on a Tuesday, the one where you still have to get to work at six. Contracted properties are on our route for all of them.

What we plow

  • Residential driveways, aprons, and turnaround areas
  • Small commercial and retail parking lots
  • Church, office, and multi-unit properties
  • Fire lanes and loading areas kept open

Where the snow goes

Stacking matters. Push it in front of the garage and you have created a problem; pile it over a catch basin and you get an ice sheet on the first thaw. We plan the stacking locations at the start of the season so meltwater drains and sight lines stay clear at the end of the drive.

Plow plus salt

Plowing removes the snow, but the thin layer left behind refreezes overnight. Adding de-icing to the plow visit is what actually makes a surface safe, and it is the piece insurance carriers care about on commercial property.

This service is part of our snow removal service work across Metro Detroit. Bundle it with a regular route stop and you skip the trip charge.

Common Questions

What is your plow trigger?
Two inches for residential drives, one to two inches for most commercial lots. Contracted properties get service automatically at trigger — no call needed.
How fast do you get there after a storm?
Commercial lots are cleared before opening hours. Residential drives are typically done before the morning commute, and on all-day storms we run a second pass after the snow stops.
Will the plow damage my driveway or lawn?
We stake edges on properties where the drive line disappears under snow, and we use shoes on the blade over pavers and gravel. Damage from plowing is almost always a marking problem, so we mark first.
Do you shovel walks too?
Yes, and we recommend it. Plows cannot reach front walks, porches, or steps, and those are exactly where people fall.
